Robert Scott Hicks, 21, of Conway went to be with the Lord on Tuesday (Nov. 1, 2005).

Scott was born Sept. 29, 1984, in Little Rock, the son of Jim and Karen Hicks.

Scott was a student at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock working toward a degree in construction management. He had previously attended University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton.

Scott was a member of Second Baptist Church in Conway.

Scott enjoyed many outdoor activities, including four-wheeling, fishing and playing golf. He also enjoyed listening to music and spending time with his brothers and friends. His sense of humor and teasing ways will be missed by those who knew him.

Scott is also survived by three brothers, Justin, Ryan and Stephen Hicks of Conway.

Scott is preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Dale Hicks.

He leaves a family who loves him, including grandparents Rosemary and Bill Scott of Conway and Mary Jane Hicks of Quitman.

He will be missed by his aunts, uncles and cousins, Mark and Suzanne Scott of Washington, D.C. (Sidney and Amelia), Kirk Scott of Hurricane, Utah, Brian and Shawn Scott of Arlington, Texas (Heather and Ani), Jim and Karen Ward of Cabot (Chris, and Ashley Ward (Sophie) of Sherwood and Alan and Amie Simmons of Chicago, Illinois).

Scott leaves behind a host of friends who love him dearly.

The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, 2005, at Griffin Leggett Conway.

Services for Scott will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Griffin Leggett Conway with Dr. Mark Dance, Paul Hudson and his uncle, Rev. Jim Ward, officiating.
