George Lewis Crenshaw, 72, of Quitman, died Sunday (Dec. 2, 2001) at his home.
Born March 28, 1929, in Oklahoma City, Okla., son of the late Samuel and Nellie Adeline Keester Crenshaw, he retired from the Navy and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion. He was a Buddhist.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Kimiko.
Survivors are a son, Ted Crenshaw of Quitman; a daughter, Sherri Friesen of Quitman; and three grandchildren.
Graveside services with full military honors by American Legion Post 64 will be 11 a.m. today at Quitman Cemetery with a military chaplain officiating. Burial will be by Olmstead Funeral Home Inc. of Heber Springs.
