Siloam Springs — Clifford Oliver Bowles, 69, of Pittsburg, Kan., died Thursday in a Fayetteville hospital. Born March 28, 1896 at Prairie Grove, he was a retired railway machinist, a veteran of World War I and a member of the Presbyterian Church.

Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Monna Bowles of the home; one son, Richard of Liberty, Mo.; one daughter, Mrs. Vivian Kirk of Liberty; one brother, Weaver of Jay, Okla.; three sisters, Mrs. Della Davis of Maysville, Mrs. Ellen Miser of Jay and Mrs. Margaret Greer of Diamond, Mo. and four grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Maysville Community Church with burial in Maysville Cemetery under direction of Pyeatte Funeral Service.
