Estella "Stella" Benton (Jones) Ward, age 95, died on Apr 1, 1980, in Oak Manor Nursing Home in Booneville, Arkansas. She was born Jan 11, 1885, in Arkansas. Her parents were the late Elias Jefferson "Jeff" Jones and Miranda Avaline (Pennington) Jones. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Booneville.
Survivors include three sons, Thurl Ward from Mansfield, Arkansas, and Seaman Ward and Richard Ward, both from Bakersfield, California; two daughters, Mrs Bertie Foster (nee Bertie Blanche Ward) from Booneville, Arkansas, and and Oleta Davis (nee Carol "Oleta" Ward) from Aurora, Colorado; 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
