Margaret Z. Elam, formerly of Gravette, died at Decatur last week, aged about fifty-three years. Mrs. Elam was a member of the Baptist church and the funeral was conducted by Rev. J.W. West, burial taking place at Bethel, south of town. Mrs. Elam was the mother of three children of which only one survives, H. Josh Elam. Mrs. Elam was a relative of Mrs. William January of Gravette.
