NICEVILLE, Fla. - Mary Louise McGriff, 59, of Niceville, formerly of Springdale, passed away April 12, 2008. She was born May 22, 1948, in Washington County to Ralph and Merle Bookout. Mrs. McGriff was a born again Christian and a member of the First Baptist Church in Springdale.
Survivors include her husband, Tim McGriff of Niceville; two sons, Michael McGriff and wife Lindsey of Crestview, Fla., Kirk McGriff and wife Lydia of Niceville; one daughter, Cassandra McGriff of Detroit, Mich.; one brother, Ralph Allen Bookout and wife Vivian of Tyler, Texas; seven grandchildren; special friends, the Nelson families; the Garrison families, the Bookout families, the Watkins families; Vickie Hoy and family; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today, April 16 at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Springdale.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 17 at the funeral home. Brother Joe Dorman will officiate. Interment will follow in Friendship Cemetery.
