Preston T. Williams, 77, of Camden, died Tuesday in a Camden hospital. A native of Calhoun Co., he was the son of Henry D. and Grace Moore Williams. A retired employe of the old Camden Arsenal, he had resided in Camden for the past 15 years. He was a veteran of World War I and was a member of the Fairview Methodist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Mary Frances Avant, Camden, and Mrs. Ophie Grace Gresham, Little Rock; two sons, Jimmy Williams and Tommy Williams, both of San Diego, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Iris Boyce, El Dorado; five brothers, H. Truman Williams, W. Hoyle Williams, Earl Williams, Homer Williams and Walter Williams, all of Harrell; and 10 grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Dickerson Baptist Church near Harrell. Interment was in Dickerson Cemetery under the direction of Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
