Mary S. Hargrove
HOUSTON, Minn - Mary S. Hargrove, 84, of Houston died April 23, 2000, at Valley View Nursing Home in Houston. She was born Feb. 28, 1016, in Pleasant Hill Township in Minnesota to Marcus Earl and Stella Luce Beach. She grew up in the Pine Creek area near LaCrescent, Minn., and movvd to Gravette in 1979, where she raised horses. She enjoyed cooking and gardening and was a member of Beacon Baptist Church. Her husband, Loren Hargrove, preceded her in death in 1995. She moved to Houston in 1998.
Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Averle Myer of Fayetteville and Carolynn Harris and Dempsey of Baxter Springs, Kan.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Alvern Hargrove and Nancy of Gainesville, Fla., and Arden Hargrove and Margy of Houston, Minn.; 14 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Golden "Bud" Beach of Dakota, Minn.; two sisters, Lenora Stoehr of LaCrescent and Marjorie Mickschl of Holmen, Wis.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Beacon Baptist Church in Gravette with the Rev. Dan Fagala officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery under the direction of Callison-Lough Funeral Service in Gravette. Visitation will be 1 p.m. unti1 service time Friday.
