Cycle Crash Kills Youth
A 19-year-old Springdale man was killed Sunday when he lost control of his motorcycle and ran into a tree. He was identified as Joe D. Myers, 1411 S. Young St.
The Washington County Sheriff's Department said Myers was pronounced dead on arrival at Springdale Memorial Hospital.
According to Springdale Fire Department reports, the wreck occurred about 6:30 p.m. at 1279 S. Barrington Road in Tontitown. Rescuers found Myers lying in the driveway.
