BENTONVILLE – Nora Estine Bruce Malone, 85, of Bentonville died Monday, April 21, 2003, at a Bentonville hospital.
Born Feb. 5, 1918, in Lunenburg, she was the daughter of Walter William Bruce and Letticia Byler Bruce.
Survivors include four sons, Dennis Wayne Malone of Haughten, La., Edward Lee Malone of Alexander, Matthew Walter Malone of Little Rock and Michael Homer Malone of Bentonville; a daughter, Shelly Sue Gartrell of Bentonville; nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Shella Leaton Malone; a son, Bruce David Malone; three sisters; and a brother.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home Chapel in Melbourne with Bill Laird officiating. Burial will be in Melbourne Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Robert Darrell Chambers, Steven Wayne Malone, Daniel Wayne Malone, Michael J. Gartrell Jr., Edward Lee Malone Jr. and Justin Lee Thacker.
