MRS. ETHEL POPLIN
Mrs. Ethel Poplin, 74, 1102 Christian, Springdale, died March 3 in a Rogers Nursing home. Born Jan. 8. 1901, in Cass County, Tex., she was the daughter of Charley and Ada Boykin Floyd, the widow of J. T. Poplin and a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include five sons, Chester Lee Poplin, Tucson, Ariz., James W. Poplin, Bloomington, Calif., Raymond W. Poplin of California, Archie B. Poplin, Springdale, and J. L. Poplin, Aumsville, Ore.; four daughters, Mrs. J. D. (Bertha Mae) Neal, Springdale, Mrs. Lela Bell Perry, Barstow, Calif., Mrs. Loy (Dorothy) Carter, Athens, Greece, and Mrs. Dale (Doris) Ford, Little Rock; one brother, Willie Floyd, Linden, Tex.; six sisters, Mrs. Lula Midkiff, Houston, Tex., Mrs. Allie Hayes, Fayetteville, Mrs. Christine Spotts, Grants Pass, Ore., Mrs. Ila Windam, Springdale, Mrs. Alma Smith, Bay City, Tex., and Mrs. Louise Lewis, Waldo; 35 grandchildren and 17 great-
grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in Sisco Chapel. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery under the direction of Sisco.
