O B was the father of four. His only son died in infancy of diphtheria. He was survived by three daughters; two ex-wives; wife at death, Mona; and a sister, Orpha Mae Tillery Wright of Blue Mound, Kansas. He had a brother, L.D.
Married 1. Harriet Lucille Rasbery Tillery in 1947 2. Mona Rae Hutchins Tillery.
One son Donald Wayne Tillery who died in infancy of diphteria. He had 3 daughters.

Mona Rae Tillery, 64 of Paris, Arkansas, died September 22, 2007, in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born September 19, 1943 in Charleston, Arkansas to her parents, Frank and Erma (Street) Hutchins. She was a homemaker and the widow of Bill Rye and O.B. Tillery. Survivors include two daughters; one son; three sisters; four brothers; and five grandchildren. Funeral Service was held in the Roller Chapel-Paris with burial in Carolan Cemetery, Hwy 23, west of Booneville, Arkansas under the direction of Roller Funeral Home and Chapel of Paris, Arkansas.
