MELBOURNE – Meldrie Orlean Kytle Byler, 88, of Melbourne died Monday, July 29, 2002, at Melbourne.
Born June 18, 1914, at Gorby, she was the daughter of John Kytle and Sarah Kytle. She was a school teacher and a member of First Baptist Church in Melbourne, Retired Teachers organization, Woman’s Mission-ary Union and Extension Homemakers Club.
Survivors include her husband, Loyd Byler; three sons, Jerry Byler of Mount Pleasant, Ben Byler of Cookeville, Tenn., and Sid Byler of Alexander City, Ala.; six grandchildren, Bryan Byler, Darren Byler, Kerry Byler, Eric Byler, Jonathan Byler and Scott Byler; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Cumi Smithson; and a brother, Harl Kytle.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church in Melbourne with Doyne Robertson officiating. Burial will be in Melbourne Cemetery with arrangements by Eddie’s Family Funeral Home of Melbourne.
Pallbearers will be deacons of First Baptist Church.
