Rogers friends of the deceased and of the family were very sorry to learn of the death of Roy Wasson Monday morning at the home of his mother, Mrs. W.D. Wasson. Death was the result of tuberculosis of the spine and is supposed to have been caused by a severe case of typhoid fever in the spring. Mr. Wasson, who was 25 years old, leaves a wife and two children. He was born and raised at Springtown but for several years had been in business at Gentry. The funeral was held at the home Tuesday. Mr. Wasson was a splendid young man and had friends all over the county who join with the Democrat in extending sympathy to the family.

D.L. Wasson died at his home in this city early Monday morning, July 14th. He had recovered from a case of typhoid fever about two months ago which left him in a weakened condition and soon tubercular trouble developed, resulting in his death. Mr. Wasson was born at Springtown and was 26 years of age. He has always lived in this community except when away at school and on account of his kind and generous disposition he was liked by everyone who ever knew him. He has been extensively engaged in the real estate business since coming to Gentry, and at the last election was chosen as one of the justices of the peace for this township. He leaves a young wife and two children besides a mother and several brothers and sisters to mourn his death. The funeral services were held at the residence in charge of the Masonic fraternity. Rev. Martin of the Methodist church delivered an appropriate sermon and prayers were offered by the pastors of other churches. Interment was made in the Springtown cemetery and a large number of friends followed the remains to their last resting place.
