History: Located on State Highway 35, North of Monticello. The land for the cemetery was given by Stephen Gaster. Dr. Lewis A. Bond, who died in 1849, originally homesteaded the land and is buried in this cemetery. (Ref.: "Old Times Not Forgotten" by Rebecca DeArmond.)
