Scottie Lynn Sherrell, son of James Harlen Sherrell of Longlane, MO, and Mary Gaye Jeffery Gillihan of Mtn. Home, AR, was born on August 12, 1962 in Independence, MO. He died on January 30, 2004 in Columbia, MO. He was 41 years old. Mr. Sherrell was united in marriage to Kimberly Ann Corless on June 14, 1985 in Independence, MO, and to this union four children were born. During his working years, Mr. Sherrell worked and managed an auto detailing shop and car wash. He is survived by his wife of 18 years; his father, James Harlen Sherrell of Longlane, MO; his mother and her husband, Mary and Clevis Gillihan of Mtn. Home; two sons, Scottie Lynn Sherrell Jr., and William Tyler Sherrell both of the home; two daughters, Anna Elizabeth Sherrell ad Ashley Marie Sherrell both of the home; two sisters, Linda Childers of Batesville, and Connie Campbell of Melbourne; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and many good friends. He was preceded in death by one brother, Michael Sherrell; and maternal grandparents, Leslie ad Audell Jeffery; and paternal grandparents, William Robert and Myrtle Sherrell. Funeral service was Mon., Feb. 2, 2004 at 2 p.m. at the Roman and Billy Howard Memorial Chapel with Doyne Robertson officiating. Burial was at Combs Cemetery under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne. Pallbearers were Corey Mason, Russell Sherrell, Randy Sherrell, Greg Sherrell, Ryan Clark, and Johnny Gilpatrick. Honorary pallbearers were Timmy Sherrell, Rusty Campbell, Daniel Bohannan and Alan Sherrell.
