*OBITUARY
Ralph Timothy Sartin of Melbourne, son of the late Elijah Sartin and Geneva Hendrix Sartin was born Nov. 19, 1925 in Boswell, AR. He died Sat., July 11, 1992 in the Veterans Hospital in N. Little Rock, AR.

He was married to Zena Ray Colter on Sept. 9, 1946 in Twin Creek, AR.

He served in the U.S. Army during WWII and was awarded the Purple Heart. He was a member of the VFW and American Legion. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife of the home; one daughter, Carolyn Gaye Pate of Melbourne; one son, Larry Wayne Sartin of Mont Belvieu, TX; two brothers, Doyse Sartin of Melbourne and Troye Sartin of Osceola; three grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tues. July 14, 1992 at 2 p.m. in the Howard Chapel in Melbourne, with Bro. Leonard Williams and Chuck Crow officiating.

Pallbearers were Weldon Campbell, Loyd Hargis, Dewey Love, Jimmy Miller, Lee Campbell Watson, and Wayburn Watson. Honorary pallbearers were Raymond Blair, Hale Bibb, Shorty Campbell, Charles Mynatt, Remmel Williams, Boyce Gillihan, Lloyd Cooper, and Charles Cheatham.

Burial was in the Combs Cemetery at Melbourne under the direction the Howard Funeral Home.
