George Ralph Bohannon, age 70, of Heber Springs, Arkansas, passed away at his home on Monday, March 7, 2005. Born in Ludwing, Arkansas, on March 23, 1934, he was the son of the late James Henry and Willie Marie (Chronister) Bohannon. Mr. Bohannon was a construction superintendent and a native of Spadra, Arkansas. He had been a resident of Cleburne County for ten years. Mr. Bohannon was a veteran of the Korean War, having served in the United States Army. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. Survivors include his wife, Peggy Jo (Morris) Bohannon of Heber Springs; two sons, Douglas Lee Galloway and his wife, Toni, and Danny Lynn Galloway and his wife, Melissa, all of Mt. View; one sister, Freda Phillips of Heber Springs; five step-grandchildren, Kevin, Kassi, Will, Jessi, and Faith; and four nieces and nephews. Mr. Bohannon is also survived by other relatives and his many friends.

Visitation will be held Tuesday afternoon, March 8, at Olmstead Funeral Home. Graveside service and interment will be held Wednesday, March 9, at 2:30 P.M., in the Good Springs Cemetery with Rev. Mark Bishop officiating. Pallbearers will be Doug Galloway, Danny Galloway, Deno Phillips, Greg Phillips, Kevin Wildman, and Gary Dunlap. Honorary pallbearers will be Dean Phillips and Jeff Petray. Arrangements are by Olmstead Funeral Home, Inc.
