John Paul Leslie, 66, of Magazine died Thursday, Aug. 3, 2000, in Memphis, Tenn.
He was a retired teacher's aid from Magazine schools and a member of United Methodist Church of Magazine.
Funeral service was 10 a.m. Monday at United Methodist Church in Magazine with burial at Ellington Cemetery in Magazine under the direction of Roller Funeral Home of Booneville.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Dockery Leslie; one daughter, Paula Floyd of Russellville; one son, John T. Leslie of Magazine; two grandchildren, Amy Floyd and Trent Leslie and two stepgrandchildren, Eric and Michael Floyd.
Pallbearers were Marty and Raymond Cotton, Jim Khilling, Damon Cravens, Will Beason and Eric and Michael Floyd.
Honorary pallbearers were Leland Garner and Magazine High School Class of 1952.
