Early on November 4, 2007, a special light left this world to become part of one more bright star in our memory.
M Guinn Rigsby of North Little Rock was born on October 22, 1965, at Jane Phillips Hospital in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, to Kelly and Wilene Rigsby.
At age, four he and his family moved to North Little Rock, where he spent the remainder of his life, graduating from Northeast High School in 1985. He attended University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and UALR. He was disabled from injuries during a summer job and was plagued by health issues for the rest of his short life.
He loved all things antique. He was recognized nationally as an expert on antique brass blade, brass cage electric fans. He belonged to the American Association of Antique Fan Collectors and to the National Association of Watch & Clock Collectors, Inc. He was a life member and former secretary of Big Rock Masonic Lodge #633 in North Little Rock, as well as a life member and 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason. He belonged to the First United Methodist Church in North Little Rock.
Guinn was a generous, caring soul with a quick wit and a creative mind. He was rarely at a loss for words. He leaves to mourn his passing: parents Kelly & Wilene Rigsby; brothers Stephen Rigsby & sister-in-law Gwen of Conway and Dwane Rigsby of Richardson, Texas; nephew Christopher Rigsby and niece Alexis Rigsby of Conway; and a very special friend, Janet Ferguson of Little Rock; aunts Betty Williams of Little Rock, Lura Belle Owen of Lonsdale, Arkansas, and Marilyn Sue Jones of Magazine, Arkansas. He follows in the footsteps of grandparents Rupert & Nellie Garner Rigsby and Victor & Merle Ellington Jones.
