Rodhie Ellen (Bryant) (Smith)(Hamilton) Bennett was the daughter of Thomas Howard Bryant (1843-1914) and Martha Jane (Bryce) Bryant (1848-1920). She was one of six known children raised in Crawford Co., Arkansas. Rodhie had the following known siblings:

In 1899, in Arkansas, Rodhie married Amos Bennett (born in 1834) who was 39 years older than her. Amos had at least one previous marriage, and family members believe he may have been married twice before. He had 6 known children, all of whom were grown by the time he married Rodhie.

Rodhie and Amos Bennett had 4 known children:

Leonard Ezekiel Bennett 1913 – 2003

All of these children died young, except Leonard, the youngest, who lived to be 90 years old. He is also buried in Hall Cemetery.

- Written by Blytha (Dennis) Ellis, great great niece of Amos Bennett through his sister Paulina (Bennett) Thurman.

Someone else previously wrote this information on this memorial:

Rhodie married Amos Bennett as her third husband after the deaths of Mr. Hamilton and Mr. Smith. She had one child with Mr. Smith [should be Mr. Hamilton] and three children [should be 4] with Mr. Bennett.

It is not known where Amos Bennett is buried. He is not buried in the family plots of Bryants in Hall Cemetery.
