Dortha Douthit
Dortha Joan Parkhurst Douthit, 59, of Van Buren, died Friday, Jan. 22, at Crawford Memorial Hospital, Fort Smith.
She was born June 18, 1933, at Siloam Springs to Paul Cundiff and Dortha Woods Cundiff. A former Siloam Springs resident, she worked as an inspector for the United States Department of Agriculture. She was affiliated with the Full Gospel Church, Siloam Springs.
Survivors are her husband, David Douthit; a son, Jerry Parkhurst of Siloam Springs; a daughter, Sherri Deason of Stilwell, Okla.; a stepson, Edwin Lee Douthit of Salinas, Calif.; a stepdaughter, Julianne Jacinos of Citrus Heights, Calif.; three brothers, Dan and Donald Cundiff, both of Siloam Springs, and Shorty Cundiff of West Siloam Springs; two sisters, Delores Jones of Springdale and Sue Verses of Decatur, and three grandchildren.
Funeral is set for 10 a.m. Wednesday at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs, with the Rev. Gary Riley officiating. Burial is to be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Siloam Springs.
