Bernice A. Chewning, 79 of Cedarville, Arkansas died Monday, August 3, 2009 in her home.
She was a homemaker, a resident of Cedarville and of the Pentecostal faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hollis Chewning; a sister, Claudia Gilchrest and a brother Thomas Gilchrest.
She is survived by four daughters, Vita L. Skeinkamp of Van Buren, Linda R. Whitaker of Cedarville, Annette M. Kannady of Arkoma, Tonjia G. Davis of Ft. Smith; one sister, Mildred Blanton of La Cruces, NM; thirteen grandchidren, twenty-four great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
Graveside funeral service was held Thursday, August 6, at 10am at Hall Arbor with the Rev. Robert Blanton officiating.
Pallbearers were Michael Davis, Thomas Jacks Sr., Randall Davis, Thomas Jacks Jr., Tyler Jacks and Ronnie Blanton
