Sylvia Mae Hyde
SILOAM SPRINGS - Sylvia Mae Hyde, 90, of Siloam Springs died Oct 26. 2004, at her home. She was born Feb. 9, 1914, in Altus to John Willie and Ethel Augusta Mayfield Blythe. She was a homemaker and a member of Weddington Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy H. Hyde, and one son, Harold W. Hyde.
Survivors include three sons, Jimmy L. Hyde of Siloam Springs, Johnny R. Hyde of Staplehurst, Neb., and Tom D. Hyde of Bunnlevel, N.C.; three daughters, Betty J. Taylor of Glendale, Ariz., Judy A. Weaver of Tifton, Ga., and Carol S. Wright of Siloam Springs; one sister, Marjorie Swinburn of Orange, Texas; 35 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Siloam Springs with the Rev. Phil Misenheimer officiating.
Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
