Gerlie Frances Reed Hogue, 82, of Lonoke died Tuesday, March 13, 2007, at the Baptist Memorial Medical Center in North Little Rock. A native of Crossett; a resident of Lonoke for the past two years and a former resident of Hamburg, she was a retired bookkeeper; a member of the Lonoke Baptist Church and a former member of the First Baptist Church in Hamburg.
She is survived by her husband of 11 years, Russel Hogue; a son, Rev. Jimmy D. Wallace and wife Sheila of Lonoke; granddaughters Jennifer Hale and husband Eric and Leah Palmer and husband Reagan and a great-granddaughter, Anna Claire Hale. She is also survived by Russel's family; a son, David Hogue and wife Dana of Charlotte, NC; their children; Robinson and Austin Hogue; a daughter, Elizabeth Bell and husband Dwayne of Fort Smith; and their children, Josh and Amanda Bell, Susan Manning and husband Roger of Hot Springs, and their children, Mackenzie Barber and husband Kameron and Clay Manning and wife Jennifer; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, John Henry & Mittye Lou Stovall Reed.
A private family burial was held Wednesday, March 14, in the Antioch Cemetery in Hamburg. A memorial celebration/visitation was held Thursday, March 15, at the Lonoke Baptist Church.
