Ethna Freeman-Cooper was the daughter of Robert Allen Freeman and Emma Kitchens-Freeman. She was a sister to Christopher C., Lee Roy, Rufus B., Theophilus Hayden, Alma, Zelma, and Homer. She was a granddaughter of Theophilus Rucker Freeman, TN, and Margaret Hinkle Bingham (Bigham) Freeman, TN. She is buried in Combs Cemetery near her brothers Homer and Chris, and her parents. She married Newton Cooper, December 15, 1901. Newton died in February, and Ethna in August, the same year. They are buried side by side. She was 37 when she died, leaving her young children. May she rest in peace.
