Robert Z. Ross
Robert Z. Ross, 82, of Rogers passed away March 22, 2005, at home. He was born July 27, 1922, in Everett, Wash., to William and Pearl (Aitken) Ross. He married Dorva Shadrick on Nov. 4, 1955 in Yuma, Ariz.
Robert was a veteran of the United States Navy having served from 1941 through 1963 during World War II and Korea. He retired as a machinist from the Navy.
Survivors include his wife, Dorva Ross of Rogers; two daughters, Lynn Powell and husband David of Rogers and Shari Hornsby of Pea Ridge; two brothers, Bill Ross of Snohomish, Wash., and Jack Bucholz of York, Neb.; three grandchildren, James Powell, Adam Powell, Michael Powell; four great-grandchildren.
A service will he held at 1 p.m. today, March 24 at Grace Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Rogers City Cemetery.
Memorials may be made in his name to Grace Baptist Church Building Fund, 2409 W. New Hope Road, Rogers, 72756.
Arrangements are by Callison-Lough Funeral Service, Rogers.

Dorva Lee Ross
ROGERS — Dorva Lee Ross, 76, of Rogers passed away Nov. 1, 2007, at the Northwest Medical Center-Bentonville.
She was born Sept. 25, 1931, in Rogers.
Dorva was a longtime resident of Rogers, but most recently lived in Pea Ridge with her daughter, Shari. She was a homemaker, graduated from Rogers High School and Tulsa Business College, and was a longtime member of Grace Baptist Church. She also was a member of the Morningstar Home Extension, serving as secretary for many years. Dorva enjoyed traveling, reading, gardening, spending time with family and friends, and attending and serving in her church.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Georgia Pauline Hartgrave; her husband, Robert Zane Ross; and a son-in-law, Roger Lee Hornsby.
She is survived by two daughters, Bobbie Lynn Powell and husband David Wayne Powell of Rogers and Shari Dee Hornsby of Pea Ridge; two brothers, William Franklin Hartgrave of Alpena and Bobby Dean Hartgrave of Rogers. She also is survived by grandchildren, Adam Wayne Powell and Michael Robert Powell, both of Rogers, and James David Powell of Springfield, Mo.; four great-grandchildren of Springfield, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 5, at the Grace Baptist Church in Rogers with Pastor Randy Parks officiating. A private family burial will be in the Rogers Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Rogers.
