This cemetery is located on Grant 53 in the Ico or Cane Creek community in northern Grant County. It is located on what was at one time the Thomas and Martha Hodge Ward homeplace. This area was part of Saline County before Grant County was formed in 1869. This community was known as Wardville or Wardsville at one time and Thomas Ward was the postmaster.
It is on the west side of Grant 53 just north of where Baxter Trail, or Grant 52, comes into Grant 53.
