MARRS, John Franklin - {from Pleasant Valley} John Franklin Marrs was born Feb. 15, 1890. Died March 31, 1919. He was married Oct. 24, 1909 to Miss Naomi Sitton. To this union were born three children who, with their mother, survive him. He professed a hope in Christ Dec. 23, 1918, which hope he held to the time of his death. After funeral services, conducted by Rev. J.L. Chastain, the remains were tenderly laid to rest in Springtown cemetery to await the resurrection.
