Beatrice Della Bruce, daughter of the late C.D. and Tabitha Neel Bruce, was born on January 27, 1913 in Melbourne. She died at the Muskogee Regional Medical Centery, in Muskogee, Oklahoma on February 22, 2004. She was 91 years old.

She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Mrs Bruce was survived by one son, Robert Bull of Melbourne; one daughter, Glenda Ware of Muskogee, Oklahoma; one sister Ola Bruce Sibley of Seattle, Washington; four grandchildren, Retha Schubert of McAlester, Oklahoma, Eugene Bull of Melbourne, Todd Ware of Woodbridge, Virginia and Lance Ware of Garland, Texas; four great-grandchildren, Brent Lancaster of Melbourne, Nick Bull of Melbourne, Rachel Ware of Virginia and Henry Ware of Virginia; two nephews and four nieces and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Orgel Bruce and Orvel Bruce.
Graveside services were February 26 at the Combs Cemetery in Melbourne with Brother Elvis Sneathern officiating. Pallbearers were Eugene Bull, Brent Lancaster, Steven Jones, J.F. Jones, Lee Arnold and Hurley Moorehead. Honorary pallbearers was Nick Bull.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Howard Funeral Home in Calico Rock.
