VAN BUREN — Nathan W. Holmes, 23, of Van Buren died Aug. 26, 2004, at Van Buren. He was a sergeant in the Army Reserve and was a light wheel vehicle mechanic. He was a member of Matthew 10 Deliverance Church in Kibler. He enjoyed hunting and golfing.
Survivors include his wife, Jamie of the home; his mother and stepfather, Beverly Matheny and Keith of Greenbrier; his father, Ron Holmes of Van Buren; two sisters, Dacia Holmes and Breanna Matheny, both of Greenbrier; one brother, Micah Matheny of Greenbrier; maternal grandparents, Dave and Adelene Bullard of Rogers.
Graveside services with military honors will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Dowell Cemetery in Fayetteville. Arrangements are by Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
