Sunday at Malvern
Allie L. Lederer, 57, of Malvern died Sunday (Oct. 4, 1987) at Hot Springs County Hospital in Malvern. A native of Mountain Home, she moved to Malvern 17 years ago. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Mountain Home.
Visitation will be from 3-4 p.m. today at the Roller Funeral Home. Graveside services in Baxter Memorial Gardens will be at 4 p.m. today, with the Rev. Zane Chester officiating.
Born April 5, 1930 at Mountain Home, she was the daughter of Cena Hodges Pruitt and James Pruitt. She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Fred Lederer, at home; two sons, Robert Lederer of Pocahontas and Roger Lederer of Malvern; three brothers, Alfred Pruitt and Howard Pruitt, both of Mountain Home, and Davie Pruitt of New York; and four grandchildren.

Fred Lederer, age 84 of Malvern, died Sunday, December 30, 2012 in the Hot Spring County Medical Center. He was born in Flippin, Arkansas on May 14, 1928 to the late Asa Lederer and Zada Coots Lederer. Reared and educated in Flippin, he and his family moved to Malvern in 1971. Fred was employed by Arkansas Power and Light for over 43 years, retiring as a general construction foreman. He was a member and deacon of First Baptist Church, an associate member of the Saltzman Sunday School Class, and had worked in the children's department of the church for over 30 years.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia Morris Lederer of Malvern, to whom he was married on May 14, 1988 in Little Rock; by his children, Robert Lederer and his wife Bettie of Enterprise, Alabama, and Roger Lederer and his wife Teresa, of Malvern; by four grandchildren, Amanda, Amy, Tara, and Brandi; and by three great-grandchildren, Kody, Kayden, and Britany.
Fred was also preceded in death by his first wife and the mother of his children, Allie Pruitt Lederer, and a sister, Lenora Fenton.
The family will receive friends at J. A. Funk Funeral Home on Wednesday evening, January 2, 2013 from five until seven o'clock.
His funeral will be at eleven o'clock Thursday morning, January 3, 2013 in the sanctuary of First Baptist Church with Brother Tyler Thompson officiating.
Pallbearers will be: James Stinnett, Willie Mitchell, Walter Staley, Dean Lock, Kenny Black, and Brian Porter.
Honorary pallbearers are: the Board of Deacons of First Baptist Church, and the Saltzman Sunday School Class.
Burial will take place on Friday afternoon, January 4, 2013, at two o'clock, in Baxter Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Mtn. Home, Arkansas.
Memorials are requested to First Baptist Church Family Life Center, or the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, c/o First Baptist Church.
