Mary Tomlinson
Mary Avis Tomlinson, 74, of Springdale, died Tuesday, Dec. 1, at her home. She was born July 10, 1918, at Tama County, Iowa, to Henry and Elizabeth Brown. A Baptist, she was the owner of Mary's Natural Foods since 1968.
Her husband, Ethmer Clem Tomlinson, died Jan. 7, 1973.
Survivors are three daughters, Rachel Reed of Springdale, Rebecca Sutherlan of Siloam Springs, Ruth Tomlinson of Sulphur Springs; a sister, Margaret Lindeman of Waterloo, Iowa; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral is set for 2 p.m. Friday at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home, Springdale, with the Rev. Tom Ellis officiating. Burial will be at Friendship Cemetery, Springdale. Visitation will be 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. today.
