CONDREY, William F. - William F. Condrey was born in Iredell Co., N.C. Jan. 2nd, 1817, was married to Miss Nancy Moor Sept. 1st, 1836 with whom he lived happily until death, which occurred at his home near Springtown, Ark. Aug. 8th, 1892. He professed religion and joined the Methodist church at the age of 20. For months he had been confined to his room and bed patiently waiting for the last summons. When it came he was ready; his house had been set in order. At his request the writer, assisted by Revs. J.W. Maddox and P. Merrell, P.C., preached his funeral to a large congregation of weeping friends and relatives. His aged companion and children mourn their loss but not without hope. P.B. Hopkins.
