Robert Lewis Stephens, age 72, of Fairfield Bay, Arkansas, passed away Friday, October 31, 2008, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Little Rock. Born in Conway, Arkansas, on August 12, 1936, Mr. Stephens was the son of the late Cornelious Riley and Alice Pearl (Burnett) Stephens.

A resident of Fairfield Bay since 1998, Mr. Stephens was retired United States Air Force and real estate broker. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, having served in the United States Air Force. Mr. Stephens' religious belief was Christadelphian.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Ann Stephens of Fairfield Bay; one son, Robert Craig Stephens of Ft. Worth, Texas; one daughter, Ann Marie Harris and husband, Joe Harris, of Ft. Worth, Texas; one brother, Leroy Stephens and wife, Martha Stephens, of Conway; and two granddaughters, Brittany Suzette Stephens and Lauren Kristina Stephens of Moorpark, California; and his nieces and nephews.

Graveside services and interment will be held Tuesday, Nov. 4, at 2:00 p.m. at Woodland Memorial Park with Bros. Darwyn Kuipers and Tommy Azbill officiating. Arrangements are by Olmstead Funeral Home, Heber Springs, AR.
