Mr. Jerry Wayne Seaman, age 53, of Heber Springs, passed away after a short illness Friday, March 16, 2007 at St. Vincent Hospital in Little Rock. He attended South Cross Roads Church in Hopewell.

Mr. Seaman was born in Lincoln, Ill. on June 19, 1953, the son of the late James Walter and Christine (Duel) Seaman. He graduated from Lincoln High School in Lincoln, Ill. He married Michelle Lynn Kirk on May 26, 1990. Jerry worked as a self-employed truck driver. He also received EMT training in Quitman and was a certified auto painter. His hobbies included playing guitar and keyboards, coaching little league teams, fishing and working sound equipment.


Besides his wife, Michelle Lynn (Kirk) Seaman, he is survived by daughters, Rachel Billington of Lincoln, Ill. and Kimberly Hinds of Lake Zurich, Ill.; sons, Jeremy Seaman of Cornland, Ill. and Justin Wade Seaman of Heber Springs; sisters, Karen LaRue of Pardeeville, Wisc., Gail Slack of Lincoln, Ill. and Liane Ballard of Lincoln, Ill.; and brother, Mark Seaman of Silver Springs, Fla. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Alee and Zachary Hinds and Melia Billington and many relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Walter Seaman and Christine Duel Seaman.
