Frances May Thomas Bundy passed away February 8, 2009, at Searcy, Arkansas. She was born January 24, 1937, to John and Lula Jones Thomas in Cleburne County, Arkansas, near the Hopewell Community, where she resided at the time of her death. Survivors include her husband, Rev. Jimmie Bundy and daughter, Tabitha Bundy of the home; daughter, Dorcas Duvall and husband Douglas of Pea Ridge; grandchildren, Caleb and Erin Duvall of Pea Ridge; brother, Loyd Thomas and wife Shirley of Winslow; brother, Dale Thomas of Mayflower; two aunts; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by an infant brother and her parents. Frances loved the Lord and served Him with a sweet spirit all of her life. She was a member of Friendship Free Will Baptist Church near Rose Bud. During 50 years of marriage, she served faithfully alongside her husband as he pastored churches in Arkansas and Missouri, including their last pastorate at Cedar Heights Free Will Baptist Church in Quitman. Visitation will be at Olmstead Funeral Home in Heber Springs, Tuesday, February 10, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Services will be conducted at Friendship Free Will Baptist Church, February 11, 2009, by Rev. Michael Morrison, assisted by Rev. Tim Campbell.
