MELBOURNE — Robert Edward Dry, 47, of Melbourne died Friday, Oct. 23, 2009, in Calico Rock. Born March 25, 1962, in Brinkley, he was the son of Orbin Allison Dry and Jewell Clark Dry. He was a graduate of Mount Pleasant High School. He served in the U.S. Navy. He worked at a cabinet factory in Oregon and at Limedale in Batesville. He was of the Christian faith and attended Abundant Life Church in Mountain View. Survivors include a son, Orbin Wayne Dry of Australia; a daughter, Caitlin Marie Dry of Australia; his mother of Melbourne; two brothers, Allison Dry and Merlin Dry, both of Melbourne; and a sister, Regina Payton of Melbourne. He was preceded in death by his father; and a brother, Gerald Dry. A memorial service was at 2 p.m. today at Howard Memorial Chapel in Melbourne with Michael Engles officiating.
