Frances Battle Quinn Gilliam, age 85, of Quitman, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2011, at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. Born in Quitman, Mississippi, on July 9, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Frances Battle.
Mrs. Gilliam was a homemaker and a retired waitress. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Quinn; one son, James Michael Quinn, and one brother, William Battle.
Mrs. Gilliam is survived by five sons, Billy Quinn, Allan Quinn, Forrest Quinn, Paul D. Quinn, and Bobby G. Quinn; and many grandchildren. Mrs. Gilliam is also survived by other relatives and her many friends.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Oct. 21, at 2:00 p.m. at the South Cross Roads Church with Allan D. Quinn officiating. Interment will follow in the South Cross Roads Cemetery.
