Mrs. Mary Ellen Park, age 65, wife of John Park, Route one, Corning, died Monday, April 30, at the home of her son, Printes Park, in Memphis.
She was born September 5, 1896 at Corning and had resided here all her lifetime. She had been a member of the Hopewell Baptist church for 51 years. She and Mr. Park were married April 15, 1917.
Survivors, other than her husband are, two sons, Printes of Memphis and Aubrey Park of Rolla, Mo.; two daughters, Mrs. Paula Stout of Memphis and Mrs. Almeda Elliott of Morrilton; one sister, Mrs. Dosha Key of Portageville, Mo. and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 Wednesday afternoon, May 2, at the Richwoods Baptist church by Rev. Golden Neely of Jacksonville, Mo. Burial was in Richwoods Cemetery under direction of Russell-Ermert Funeral Service.
Pallbearers were Hewitt Park, Gerald Curtis, Ernest Ray Atkinson, Bill Banks, Drew Clark and Phil Turner.
