William Elvin Burnett, 60, resident of 103 West First Street, Corning, died at the University of Arkansas Medical Center, Little Rock, November 20, 1972. He was born June 6, 1912 in Ripley County, Missouri and was an Auto Mechanic.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Audrey Burnett; one son, William B. Burnett of Corning; one daughter, Mrs. Alice I. Miiler of Corning; one sister, Mrs. Wilma Dixon of Fort Worth, Texas. Also surviving are four step sons, Thomas Groves of Arnold, Mo., Loren Groves of the U. S. Air Force, Eugene Groves of Corning and Hershel Groves of St. Louis; three step-daughters, Mrs. Virginia Bentley of Imperial, Mo., Mrs. Aline Hollis of Corning and Mrs. Glenda Fay Martin of St. Louis; 21 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Funeral services are to be conducted Friday, Nov 24, at the Russell – Ermert Chapel by Rev. J. D. Passmore and Rev. J. A. Nochta. Burial in Richwoods Cemetery.
