Mrs. Mabel C. Martin, 65, of Camden, died Friday in a Camden hospital after a lengthy illness. She was the widow of Earnest W. Martin and a former resident of Warren and El Dorado. Mrs. Martin was born in Hermitage, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Belin, Feb. 28, 1899. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. James O. Wolfe, of Camden, Mrs. W. J. Herring of Port St. Joe, Fla.; one son, Ernie Martin of Durham, N.C.; three sisters, Mrs. Ira Bowden of Smackover, Mrs. J. L. Temple and Mrs. Tom Thompson, both of Port St. Joe, Fla.; one brother, E. W. Belin of Columbia, S.C.; and five grandchildren. Services were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Bob Parker officiating, in the Frazier Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed in the Warren Cemetery under the direction of Frazier's. (The El Dorado Times - August 10, 1964)
