LAS CRUCES, N.M. — Eleanor Meyer, 90, of Las Cruces, N.M., formally of Pea Ridge, died July 20, 2012, at Las Cruces. She was born at Cole Harbor, N.D., to Jacob Mittleider and Martha Mehlhoff Mittleider.
She moved to Pea Ridge in 1982 from Scott City, Kan., to make her home. She was a homemaker, and is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul Meyer in 2003; two sisters, Berniece Steinwand and Lillian West; one grandson; and one great-grandson.
Survivors are two daughters, Evangeline Angle and Terry of Las Cruces, N.M., and Sharon Barbee of Ely, Nev.; two brothers, Arvid Mittleider of Ellendale, N.D., and Arlo Mittleider of Paige, N.D.; three sisters, Evangeline Stuber of La Crescenta, Calif., Joan Degenstein of Minot, N.D., and Moranda Johnson of Harvey, N.D.; nine grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Graveside service is set for Thursday, July 26, 9 a.m. at Pea Ridge Cemetery.
Visitation is set for today, July 25, 5-7 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.
