Glen Dale Friend of Jordan, Arkansas
Glen Dale Friend, son of the late Lloyd Friend and Esther Farris Friend, was born October 29, 1938 in Jordan, Arkansas. He departed this life December 20, 2012 in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 74 years, 1 month and 21 days. He was a life long resident of Izard County. He was united in marriage to Lillie Friend. During his working years he was a self employed carpenter. He was of the Presbyterian faith.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Lillie Friend; his parents; one brother: Lloyd Devoe Friend; two half brothers: Coy Barnes and Merle Barnes and two half sisters: Joyce Kirby and Daisy Doyle Cheek.
Memorial service will be Sunday, December 23 at 2:00 p.m. at Hall’s Chapel in Jordan, Arkansas.
