Obituary
Glenda Swaim, 68, of Van Buren, died Sunday, January 30, 2011 in her home. She was born January 21, 1943 in Van Buren. She was retired from Ace Hardware in Fort Smith and she loved sewing, singing, and being a homemaker. She was member of Dyer Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Braxton Goins.
She was survived by her husband, Jackie Swaim of the home; four daughters, Pam Gregory of Mountainburg, AR, Jackie Brown of Muskogee, OK, Susan Liggett of Mulberry, AR, and Marty Goins of Alma, AR; one son, Steve Swaim of Muskogee, OK; one sister, Lillian Gourley of Victorville, CA; two brothers, Joe Gregory of Dyer, AR and Kenneth Gregory of Alma, AR; 16 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Memorial service will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at Edwards Van-Alma Chapel in Van Buren. She was cremated under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home. Cremated, location of ashes unknown
