Obituary John
John T. Mongold, 82, of Fort Smith died Friday, Feb. 22, 2002, at a local nursing home. He was a member of Grandview Assembly of God in Natural Dam and a retired employee of Kay Chair Co.
Survivors include his wife, Leona; two daughters, Lillian Brown of Alma and Anna Wagnon of Van Buren; two sisters, Dorothy Freeman of Cedarville and Faye Jones of Prairie Grove; a brother, Tony Mongold of Witter; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was held Feb. 26 at Ocker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel. Burial was at Hall Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren.
Pallbearers were Jimmie Jones, Leonard Jones, Doyle Jones, Ronald Jones, Donald Jones, Lesley Jones and Bill Jones.

She was a retired furniture company employee, a native of the Strickler Community and was preceded in death by her husband, John Mongold and parents James and Lydia Parr Jones.
She is survived by two daughters; Lillian Brown of Lillian of AL and Ann Wagnon of Van Buren, five grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jimmie JOnes, Leonard Jones, Doyle Jones, Ronald Jones, Lesslie Jones and Mitchell Jones.
