J. H. GIFFIN
Johnie Harold Giffin, 64, Siloam Springs, died Nov. 25 in Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital. Born Sept. 27, 1911, at Dequeen, he was the son of Elmer and Mabel Claypool Giffin and a member of Highfill Baptist Church. He was a farmer and moved to Siloam Springs 27 years ago from Iola, Kan.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Rachael Giffin of the home; three sons, Kenneth Giffin of Kansas, Clinton Giffin, Kansas City, Mo., and Dean Giffin, Summers; three daughters, Mrs. Betty Straight, Springdale, Mrs. Carl Mayhugh, Little Rock, and Mrs. Sonja Breeden, Cave Springs; one sister, Mrs. Inola Nichols, Garnett, Kan.; three brothers and 17 grandchildren,
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs, with the Rev. Gene Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery under the direction of Wasson.
