Edna Pruett Greenstreet, daughter of the late Jackson and Marcella Sylvania Ledford Pruett, was born October 20, 1927 in Izard County. She died February 23, 1999 in Jonesboro. She was 71.

Mrs, Greenstreet was united in marriage to Charles F. Greenstreet on June 3, 1946 and to this union three daughters were born. She was a homemaker, a member of Gid EHC for over 27 years and a charter member of the Melbourne VFW Auxiliary.

Survivors include her husband, three daughters, Marcella Greenstreet of Ravenden Springs, Beverly Day of Melbourne and Gail Williams of Melbourne; other survivors are Melissa and Maria Williams of Melbourne; Jason and Toni Day of Mountain Home; Jeremy Day of Melbourne; Laura Carlyle of Boothwyn, Pennsylvania; Stormi Day of Mountain Home; Andrew Williams of Melbourne and Drew Carlyle of Boothwyn, Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, and two brothers.

Funeral services were February 24, 1999 at the Pine Grove Community Church with Reverend Jim Black officiating. Pallbearers were Lester Taylor, Alan Vickery, Oscar Crofford, Clovis Vest, Lee Arnold, Mark Herrington, and Cecil Englehardt.

Burial was in Reeves Cemetery under the direction of Crouch Funeral Home of Melbourne.
