David Schumann (Buff) Buffaloe, Sr. was born 18 September 1900 and had his military experience while living in Mississippi. Buff moved to Wynne in 1919 when H. K. Barwick came to Wynne from Mississippi. Buff was a mechanic for Barwick Ford Company for many years and retired from there.
Buff married Margaret (Maggie) E. Spain 3 June 1923 in Cross County, Arkansas when he was 23 years of age and she was 19. They had one son, Davis S. Buffaloe, Jr . David S. Buffaloe died 25 January 1959 and was buried in Cogbill Cemetery in Wynne.
