Charlotte F. Pergeson
PRAIRIE GROVE — Charlotte Fern Pergeson, 64, of Prairie Grove died Nov. 25, 2005, at her home. She was born Jan. 6, 1941, at Oklahoma City to David Woodrow and Marguerite Fern Hadley Welch. She was a member of the Nazarene Church in Taturn, N.M., serving as church treasurer, a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Portales, N.M., and the New Sulphur Free Will Baptist Church near Prairie Grove. She received her Associates Degree in Accounting in 1995. She was a member of the Skyhill Women Club in Cane Hill and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Women Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by two sons, Eddie Phillips Jr., and James Melvin Pergeson.
Survivors include her husband of 32 years, Melvin Melton Pergeson, of the home; two sons, Donald Wayne Pergeson of Prairie Grove, Eric Shawn Pergeson of Springdale; four daughters, Becky Louise Beggs of Lovington, N.M., Kathy Lynn Hall and Marjorie May Sparks, both of Prairie Grove, and Roxanna Lee Powell of Hope, N.M.; a brother, David Edward Welch, of Blanchard, Okla.; a sister, Sharon Louise Cherry of McCloud, Okla.; 23 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m., Monday, at the New Sulphur Free Will Baptist Church, near Prairie Grove, with Glen Faulkner officiating. Burial will fellow at Scott Cemetery near Prairie Grove. Arrangements are by Luginbuel Funeral home in Prairie Grove.
Pallbearers will be Ryan Hall, Michael Pergeson, Elvis Phipps, David Cook, Billy Dobbs, Charlie Anderson, Berry Dobbs and Stan Anderson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Beggs, Steven Beggs, Wayman Dearing, Ray Dobbs, Daryl Dobbs, Fred Hall and Bryan Dobbs.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
